Ashley Peck is a cellist in Portland, Oregon. She is experienced both as a music educator and performer.

With ten years' teaching experience, Ashley works with children and adults, in group and private lessons. She also freelances in the Portland area performing with orchestras and chamber ensembles or recording with local artists.

A graduate from Portland State University, Ashley's performing career is mostly classically based, but she enjoys diversity in her performing repertoire. She has appeared and recorded with a wide range of musicians including Maestro Salvador Brotons, Channel In Channel Out, Michael Allen Harrison, Michelle Tumes, Kanye West, Alesana and others.

Ashley first began her musical studies at age 9 at the piano. She began playing the cello when she was twelve and knew at a young age that she was destined for music. Ashley spent two years studying music at Oregon State University where she studied with Ann Grabe and Dr. Rachelle McCabe. She then studied cello performance at Portland State University with Hamilton Cheifetz where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music. Ashley has played in masterclass settings for great musicians such as Janos Starker, Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, Paris Piano Trio, and many others.
